CSV2PLIST

CSV2PLIST ( available on the Mac AppStore for only 0.99 £ ), it’s a simple tool to convert CSV files into PLIST ones to be used in iOS and MacOS development.

This tool works by converting files in three different formats:

  • Dictionary: the first row of the CSV defines the key of the resulting dictionaries
  • Array: The root element of the plist is an array of dictionaries made of each record in the CSV file; if the CSV contains only one column, it will return an array of strings
  • Set: like the array, with unique values

This is the perfect tool for developers that have to import business rules such as URLs, multiple parameters or test data easily in their iOS or MacOS project.

Mat-MD5

Mat-MD5 is a free software that allow you to check the MD5 value for each file processed and compare it with other MD5 strings.
It will process one or more file and it will add the result value to a list. You can add your MD5 value to compare by typing it or by copying it from an external file, so you can easly compare your values.
It is very useful ie. when you download a big file – such as an *.ISO – and you want to check if it is the correct one. You can save your results to an external file; if takes too much time to check for a file you can stop the process when you want.
This software is freeware and it works on Win9x/2000/NT/XP/2003 systems and on Linux with Wine emulation.

MDB View

MDB View is a very useful software that allows you to view mdb files on system without Microsoft Access installed. All you need are the MDAC 2.1 components or higher ( that you can get for free on Microsoft download page ).
MDB View will show you all tables included in the database, with all fields and records. You can see a detailed information for each record, and you can search for an element in the whole database. Then you can export all database tables, fields and records, both to external CSV (Comma Separated Values) and HTML files (with an editable CSS file). You can also open protected database if you know the password and you can view a database directly from the command line, making also possible the view of a database directly with the cd’s autorun.
MDB View is freeware with a nag-screen that you can remove with a donation to the author. It runs on Windows 95/98/Me/Nt/2000/XP and its size allows you to bring it everywhere, even in a 720kb floppy disk. MDB View 1.0 is actually available only in English.

Il seguente programma è un’utility appositamente creata per coloro che utilizzano player mp3 e sono soliti salvare le loro playlist su file esterni. Tramite questo software potrete esportare il contenuto delle playlist che volete in una pagina web con motore interno in javascript , in modo da poter “divulgare” o quanto meno visualizzare in maniera più comprensibile e comoda le proprie canzoni.
E’ possibile esportare anche più di una playlist contemporaneamente, ed inoltre si possono anche leggere i tag ID3 di ogni canzone, visualizzando cosi – oltre al nome del file – anche l’autore, il titolo e l’album relativo (quando presenti).
Freeware, creato per Win95/98/me/nt/2000/xp. In questa ultima versione sono stati corretti molti errori ed è stata creata la versione in Inglese; si consiglia quindi l’aggiornamento per chi avesse la versione precedente.
